Ray Suarez Considers The Enduring Questions

Wed 10/24 8PM

As Senior Correspondent for “The PBS News Hour,” journalist Ray Suarez is often faced with sorting through some of life’s most difficult questions. Now he’s invited to Baldwin-Wallace University to take the stage on Wed 10/24 at 8PM in a lecture that is free and open to the public.

Baldwin-Wallace University’s “Enduring Questions: The Mark Collier Lecture Series” dovetails with B-W’s core curriculum that examines “Enduing Questions for an Intercultural World,” and issues such as what it means to be a human being, and how we relate to one another and the natural world.

Suarez is a distinguished author and broadcaster, originally hosting National Public Radio’s “Talk of the Nation” and now the monthly radio programs “American Abroad,” and “Destination Casa Blanca.” His books include The Holy Vote: The Politics of Faith in America, and The Old Neighborhood: What We Lost in the Great Suburban Migration.

The Mark Collier Lecture series continues in 2013 with C. T. Vivian, a legend of the civil rights movement, and Chris Abani, who was imprisoned by the Nigerian government for his writing.
