After almost six years as a pioneer at the corner of West 65th & Detroit, serving as an anchor of the Gordon Square Arts District, Niki Gillota is opening a second location on 11/1/12 in Lakewood as she takes over the Beck Cafe, attached to the Beck Center.
She’ll retain her baking operation in Detroit Shoreway with lunch, soup, salad, sandwiches, much of which she prepares personally.
She considers herself very lucky, as her new baby celebrates his 8-week birthday and she counts her blessings for the wonderful community that supports her, and now she doubles down with the new Gypsy Beans in Lakewood.
