Want to make a difference for people experiencing homelessness? Volunteer for the Homeless Stand Down. This event, which started in Cleveland and has gone national, is a day people come together and provide health services, donations, food, entertainment, haircuts and other services to homeless individuals. The Stand Down is offered after the holidays, when donations have dried up and people aren’t necessarily feeling so generous.
Volunteer opportunities include donation sorting, CareVan set up, personal shoppers, health care support, guest check in & hospitality and more.
