Melt owner Matt Fish is getting his own radio show. Cle’s new radio station, 87.7 Cleveland’s Sound, will soon host Sunday Night Cleveland Meltdown on Sunday nights from 11pm – midnight starting Sun 1/6.
Expect to hear heavy rock and roll classics, as well as obscurities from bands like Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Kiss and Judas Priest, along with the new hard and heavy from bands like Mastodon, The Sword, Baroness and Torche, plus the punk sounds of OFF!, Bad Religion, The Stooges and Motorhead.
Says Fish, “We’re dubbing this new show, ‘The Sunday Night Cleveland Meltdown: The Hard and Heavy Weights from All Spectrums of Rock and Roll, Punk and Metal.’ It’s gonna blow some minds!” The show will be sponsored by Melt Bar & Grilled and Fish will be behind the controls, “organizing the chaos.”
Tune to 87.7 or listen online.
