Talented multi-instrumentalist John Jorgenson was a player for hire until he caught a lucky break in the mid ’80s, launching the Desert Rose Band with former Byrds member Chris Hillman. Six years with Elton John and playing the role of legendary jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt in the 2004 film Heart in the Clouds only burnished his reputation, allowing him to tour with his own gypsy jazz group, the John Jorgenson Quintet. They’ll be at Happy Days Lodge at Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Tickets are $17 for adults, $5 kids 3-12.
