Opening Fri 3/8 @ 7pm
Michael Gill creates children’s books the old-fashioned way. No digital images here; instead, Gill utilizes his skills with woodblock, letterpress printing and writing to make books “from scratch” using those heavy old printing machines.
Check out his work in Cats, Mice & Movable Type: Handmade Children’s Books by Michael Gill opening @ BAYarts Fri 3/8. He’ll also give a gallery talk on Wed 3/13 from 7 – 9pm.
