Check out these cool ideas for transforming the Detroit-Superior Bridge, now on display in the East Fifth Street Arcade (formerly Euclid Arcade). Designers from all around the world submitted ideas, from London to Lakewood, from Bogota to Beijing. See the complete list of designers here.

The Bridge Project + the Cleveland Design Competition will co-host a Public Meeting to unveil a variety of ideas and recommendations for the future use of the Detroit-Superior Bridge Lower Level. Representatives from The Bridge Project will summarize the community planning process and unveil their recommendations for the repurposing of the lower level of the Detroit-Superior Bridge. The co-founders of the Cleveland Design Competition will highlight ideas produced for the 2012 Cleveland Design Competition: Transforming the Bridge which are currently on exhibit at the Fifth Street Arcades. The event is free and open to the public. All are welcome and encouraged to attend. The meeting will take place from 5:30pm-7:30pm on Wed 2/27 at the Fifth Street Arcades, located at 530 Euclid Avenue in downtown Cleveland, OH.

NEVER view bridge SAME way again….maybe I am one of the naysayers tooo…but I know interests and THEY WILL $*@* ones coconuts to keep THEIR Gig alive and halfway prosperous… BEST can hope for is SOMETHING different can visit on a nice weather day,gawk around,check out displays,have a brautwurst and then hey….

  2. On the $ level….GOoooooooooooooooooooooood luck if IF think can get ANY gov $…or even private $…GONNA be a H of miracle if can…LISTEN…a battle just to get chuckholes filled, and lakefront yards staying in some kind of decent shape… RIGHT now CH pinching pennies…Great Hope is MED MART……
