BlueWater Chamber Orchestra is a relatively new entry into Cleveland’s classical music scene, formed less than three years old by artistic director Carlton Woods.
While the group has mostly performed at the Breen Center in Ohio City, it’s branching out. Tonight’s “Jane, Richard & Ludwig” is at Plymouth Church in Shaker Heights. It features British soprano Jane Eaglen performing (Richard) Wagner’s Wesendonck Lieder. She is noted for performing Wagnerian roles in opera houses around the world, so she’ll be bringing her knowledgeable interpretation of the formidable German composer. The orchestra will play (Ludwig van) Beethoven’s Egmont Overture and Symphony #8. Tickets are $23; students and seniors $18.
