Looking for a new perspective on music, two Akron trios with very different sounds will be joining forces for an evening of music at Musica they’re calling New Juice.
Akron blues-rockers Dave Hammer’s Power Supply and jazzy hip-hop ensemble Flow Spontaneous will each perform a short opening set before all six musicians take the stage to bring together all their diverse musical influences in one freewheeling burst of sound. DJ Forrest Getemgump will be spinning music for dancing, although it’s likely the floor will be filled all night. Admission is $5.
