Four noted Northeast Ohio jazz musicians will come together at today for Trinity Cathedral’s Brown Bag Concert series.
Trombonist/leader Paul Ferguson, pianist Jackie Warren, bassist Peter Dominguez and drummer Bill Ransom will tackle some ever-popular territory: the Great American Songbook. They’ll play tunes by George Gershwin, Richard Rodgers, Cole Porter and Harold Arlen, as well as music by Ferguson, who’s the director of jazz studies at Case Western Reserve and is also a respected composer and arranger.
It’s free; you can bring your lunch or buy one there for $5.
