PHOTOS: Update on Melt Bar and Grilled’s fifth location in Columbus

Matt Fish wrote to update Cool Cleveland on the progress of their fifth restaurant, currently in construction in the super-hot Short North district, between The Ohio State University campus and downtown.

Here are two photos that I took in January.  They are a little outdated since the construction is farther along now but it will give you the idea.

Melt Bar & Grilled has some “lucky” news for the city of Columbus, Ohio. We will add out fifth location there in the fall of 2013! The Columbus Melt will be part of a major new development happening in the eclectic and artsy Short North district of Columbus.

The specific location is at the corner of North High Street and Hubbard Avenue and will be very similar to the Independence and Mentor locations. With seating for 140 guests (110 at tables and 30 at the bar), the Columbus location will have the same eclectic decor, award-winning menu, extensive beer list and hours of operation as the Greater Cleveland Melt locations.

Keep an eye on Cool Cleveland and Melt’s Facebook page at for grand-opening details this fall.
