The Cleveland Chamber Music Society welcomes the Takacs Quartet to its performance venue, Plymouth Church in Shaker Heights. There the group — which formed in Hungary in 1975 but is now in quarter-in-residence at the University of Colorado at Boulder — will perform the Brahms Quartet in A minor, Op. 51, Haydn’s Quartet in B-flat Major, Op. 76, and Brahms’ Quintet for Piano and Strings in F minor. They’ll be joined for the latter piece by Grammy award-winning pianist Garrick Ohlsson, who’s built a celebrated international career over 40 years. Tickets, $30, are available here.
