Third Tuesdays mean classical music at the Happy Dog. That’s when different members of Cleveland’s classical music community — even members of the Cleveland Orchestra — take over the tiny stage usually reserved for indie rockers.
Happy Dog owner Sean Watterson’s brainstorm to bring classical music to rock audiences — and vice versa — is now more than three years old. And it’s led to what will be a historic first — a Cleveland Orchestra residency in the Gordon Square neighborhood where the Happy Dog is located, taking play May 11-17.
You can get a preview of what it’s all about tonight, while enjoying the Happy Dog’s famous hot dog menu and excellent tater tots. There’s no cover.
