Cleveland Jazz Orchestra Benefit at Nighttown

Sun 5/5 @ 5-9PM

For nearly 30 years, the Cleveland Jazz Orchestra has been giving local jazz fans the opportunity to hear, and some of the area’s most gifted players the chance to play, a full spectrum of jazz styles, especially big-band music, both traditional and contemporary, that they probably wouldn’t have the chance to hear otherwise.

CJO’s annual benefit helps the group to continue their work.  The event at Nighttown includes dinner, Latin-inspired cocktails, silent and live auctions, and a concert of Latin jazz, featuring CJO’s artistic director, trumpeter Sean Jones, its associate artistic director Paul Ferguson, pianist Jackie Warren, bassist Peter Dominguez, drummer Ron Godale, and percussionist Sammy DeLeon.

Tickets are $125 per person, with $75 tax deductible, $100 per person for tables of six or more. Go to http://www.clevelandjazz.org/ or 440-945-6428 to reserve.
