We have no idea what the above photo is about. But it was posted on the website for the GlamJam Music Festival, a big, multi-media “indoor street festival” in the 5th Street Arcades that launches the annual Cleveland Fashion Week, which runs through May 11. So there must be a connection. Maybe you have to go to figure out what it is.
The event will feature live music, wearable art, performance art, projection and laser art, tango dancing, body painting, food trucks, stiltwalkers, flame throwers, and other street performers. And, as they like to say, “much, much more.”
“Fashion influences music, music influences fashion,” claim the organizers. So they’ve got a lineup of (mostly) local performers, including Polina Kourakina, Jenna Fournier, Misty Gonzales, and DJ Impure.
Tickets for this evening of artsy, fashiony, musical fun are only $15. Be sure to wear something eye-catching.
