You can always count on a rip-roaring good time when the North Coast Men’s Chorus performs.
It’s not just their full-bodied vocal force — the number of singers varies depending on who’s available to rehearse for a show, but it’s never less than 50. It’s also the way they develop their shows around a theme and throw everything but the kitchen sink at it — skits, dancers, narration, comedy, whatever.
The theme of their new show is Silver Screen, which gives them the entire history of movies to draw on, for both music and vamping and camping it up. They have promised that all of the things pictured above will play a role in this production. Don’t be surprised by anything that happens at their two shows at Notre Dame College this weekend.
