Hey — is that your grandma’s coat? If so, slip it on and head down to Rockstar Cleveland — the balcony room above Peabody’s — for tonight’s Thrift Shop Party. Odds are it won’t be too long before they play the wonderful Macklemore & Ryan Lewis hit “Thrift Shop” — and play it again, and again.
And it’s “a night of poppin’ tags for a good cause,” say the Peabody’s folks. The $8 cover goes to the nonprofit AutismSpeaks.org, since April is autism awareness month. And if you started with that “$20 in my pocket” that the song mentions, that leaves $12 to spend at the thrift shop — which can buy a lot of awesome there.
