Nashville-based bluegrass band the Steeldrivers didn’t come down from the hills exactly.
Throughout the quintet’s seven-year existence, its lineup has included top studio and touring professionals who have performed with a lengthy list of country stars including Johnny Cash, Tammy Wynette, Loretta Lynn, Wynonna Judd, Dolly Parton, Alison Krauss, Reba McIntire, and the Dixie Chicks. So you know their chops are jaw-dropping.
To its own credit, the band has three albums on Rounder Records, including the recently released Hammer Down. So they’ve got plenty of their own material as well.
They’ll perform at the Kent Stage. Tickets are $23.
