Euclid High School Big Band at Nighttown

Tue 5/28 @ 7PM

One thing Cleveland never seems to have a shortage of is young jazz musicians. With programs in at least seven northeast Ohio colleges and universities (I probably forgot a couple) and numerous high schools, Tri-C’s program for high schoolers, several jazz festivals and camps, there’s opportunity everywhere for a music-loving teen.

And Nighttown has given many of these young ensembles a chance to play a “real” gig, somewhere other than their high school auditorium on a stage where many jazz greats have also played.

That’s where the Euclid High School Big Band, directed by Diane Tizzano, will play. Admission is a mere $5. Join the sure-to-be-large crowd of proud parents and renew your faith in kids by enjoying the results of their talent and hard work.
