He’s like Clark Kent and Superman.
Some evenings, he’s Justin Gorski, acoustic singer-songwriter performing in venues like the Brothers Lounge wine bar.
But slap a fake beard and some suspenders on him, and he becomes — DJ Kishka, purveyor of the monthly Friday evening polka happy hour at the Happy Dog.
For more than eight years, he’s been entertaining folks there after a long work week with his polka shtick. Gorksi’s also the driving force behind the annual Monday-after-Easter Dyngus Day celebration when polka bands take over the entire Gordon Square neighborhood, which makes him something of a Cleveland polka mogul.
There’s no admission during the 6-9pm happy hour, so order up another round of the Happy Dog’s legendary tater tots and work them off on the dance floor.
