Roots of American Music Holds Annual Benefit

Wed 5/22 @ 6PM

Cleveland nonprofit Roots of American Music — ROAM — provides programs that teach academic subjects at inner-city schools through use of traditional American musical genres like blues, jazz, bluegrass, and gospel, performed by some of this area’s top musicians.

ROAM is holding its fifth annual fundraiser at Nighttown. And since the Rolling Stones are in the news with their latest (last?) tour, it’s featuring the music of the Stones, played by a band of local musicians lead by Eroc of Wish You Were Here. The event includes dinner at 6 pm with the show at 7. It also features a cash bar and a 50/50 cash raffle.

Tickets are $75, which includes dinner. Seating is limited, so you’ll probably want to reserve ASAP. You can do so by calling 216-321-9353 or emaiing email@rootsofamericanmusic.org.
