Tallahassee’s Bill Wharton has a gimmick that is beloved by the many fans he’s made over the past few decades.
The blues singer/guitarist is also known as the “Sauce Boss,” a reference to the gumbo he cooks up every night on stage using his own Liquid Summer Hot Sauce. Between tunes, he stirs the pot. Stick around until the end and you can enjoy a bowl of the gumbo for free.
Like it? You know he’s selling bottles of that sauce, right? But of course! And the gumbo recipe is on his website.
He’s back at Wilbert’s which has been more or less his Cleveland headquarters over the years.
