Yeah, it’s sort of confusing to have a local hardcore punk band that simply assumed the name of legendary Cleveland graphic novelist the late Harvey Pekar.
But the quintet means no harm. And it’s about to release its new album Upward, Not Northward, the follow-up to its 2011 EP Thirty Ghosts.
It’ll celebrate with a show at that bastion of punk rock, Now That’s Class. Worship This!, Two Hand Fools and Vince Roy are also on the bill.
