The Rust Belt is rising. The Head & The Hand Press, based out of Philadelphia, is “part of a literary movement of people and entities trying to bring light to an area,” namely the Rust Belt.
The Press is putting out the Rust Belt Almanac, “a contemporary almanac telling stories of growth, change and loss in the Rust Belt through short stories, poems, essays and art. This anthology draws creative inspiration from Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Detroit, to name a few.”
And they’re bringing their almanac live and on tour. They’ll bring the stories to life through storytelling and song, making three stops in Cle:
