Bay area singer/guitarist Mike Sopko and drummer Hamir Atwal play together as Glimpse Duo and Trio, tinkering with indie/garage rock, imbuing it with fusion jazz and experimental rock elements.
They describe their music as a “signature blend of frenzied musicality with sincere lyrics.” They’ve recently finished recording its third and fourth albums and plan to release them later this year and in early 2014.
Meanwhile, they’ll be at Nighttown where they will perform in the duo format. Tickets are $10.
