The Old World Parma Organization is creating a project called “Flamingo Fever.” The project encourages artists and local citizens to use their talents and creativity in order to transform a simple flamingo statute into a public art piece.
Dig into those cultural inspirations. Once the flamingos are completed they will be placed all over Parma’s Polish Village as a symbol of community presence and eventually sold at an auction held in October. For more information, and an application to the project, visit the link.
