Cleveland Orchestra Plays Pixar at Blossom

Sat 8/31 @ 8:30PM
Sun 9/1 @ 8:30PM

Purists may scoff and non-movie fans like me may yawn.

But the Cleveland Orchestra’s concerts that feature movie music and incorporate film footage are popular blockbusters. So much so that its Pixar in Concert will feature two performances at Blossom Music Center instead of the single one other Blossom programs get.

Richard Kaufman will conduct the orchestra in music from Pixar films like Toy Story and The Incredibles, while scenes from the films are projected on large screens. And! Fireworks both nights! (weather permitting).

Pavilion tickets are $25-$85. Lawn tickets are $20.

And this would be the perfect time to take advantage of a ticket special the orchestra has been running all summer: all under 18 lawn tickets are free. That certainly won’t bust the family budget, and you can pack and eat a picnic supper on the lawn.
