Forecast Brings Jazz/Pop/R&B Fusion to Nighttown

Fri 8/9 @ 8:30PM

Forecast has been around the Cleveland scene seemingly forever, playing easy-listening R&B and pop-influenced jazz that’s accessible to ordinary listeners but challenging and adept enough to simulate music aficionados.

Its versatile music has earned it opening slots for artists ranging from the Crusaders and Stanley Turrentine to Pieces of a Dream and Brian Auger, and landed it on numerous festivals and summer concert series.

Currently, the group includes vibist Lem Adams, sax player Riley Richard, bassist Gary Stevenson, keyboardist Alphonzo McDuffie and drummer John Turner.

They’ll play at Nighttown this week. Tickets are $15.
