Cleveland heavy metal quintet the Approach and the Execution not only have one of the coolest names on the scene, they also have cool attitude and cool music. They take classic metal, infused with symphonic metal and prog influences, and add contemporary touches like the contrasting clean and growly vocals.
And they have the number one thing any metal band needs to build its career on: a dazzling, take-no-prisoners live show.
The four-year old band released their debut album The Blood March two years ago. Since then, they’ve done a little touring, opened to a raft of bands headlining bands, and shared the stage with many of the best local metal bands.
They’re about to kick off another short tour. But before they go, they’ll be playing at Annabell’s in Akron with three other area metal bands: Beat to Quarters, Deadiron and Ruins of Tekoah.
