Brazilian guitarist Diego Figuieredo is a frequent and much-loved visitor to Nighttown in Cleveland Heights. He just played a pair of night’s there in early August.
Brooklyn-based French vocalist Cyrille Aimee has also been acquiring a local following at Nighttown, last performing there in June.
Figuieredo and Aimee have been collaborating for several years and have made several joint visits to town as well. His Brazilian roots and her background in gypsy jazz and Dominican rhythms make for an alluring and appealing mix.
To satisfy the increasing demand, this time they’ll be back together to perform for two nights.
