Just because Lake Erie is freezing over doesn’t mean you can’t spend a day in the sand this winter. The Children’s Museum of Cleveland presents SANDstruction – their annual exhibit boasting a giant, 70-ton sandbox for children to learn and create inside of.
Different interactive elements include the Building Site, where children engage in construction projects to develop math skills, a Supply/Equipment Area housing construction cones, hard hats, safety vests, tools and more. Children will also find inspiration for their own sand sculptures through the work of talented professional artists.
