The fall classical music season is coming to life.
One of the ongoing series returning this week is the Cleveland Museum of Art’s Music in the Galleries, which takes place on the first Wednesday of each month.
On that day, musicians from the Cleveland institute of Music and the Case Western Reserve University early music program perform selections appropriate to the era of the paintings on the walls surrounding them, providing a multi-media immersion into the culture of the time.
Details of the programs are available on the museum’s website the week of the performance.
It’s free.
