What’s nature play? Exactly! Join The Cleveland Museum of Natural History for their seminar on Restoring the Nature of Childhood Play. Led by Ken Finch, the Founder and President of Green Hearts Institute for Nature in Childhood, this informative event brings up the importance of combining childhood “play” activities with the surrounding nature.
Think about it! Didn’t some of your fondest childhood memories take place outside discovering species in streams, camping under the stars or just simply exploring in the wilderness? Finch will address the importance of nature play and the many reasons why the activity itself is leaving the lives of many of our youth today. The event is $10 for non-members and takes place at the museum in the Murch Auditorium.
