What’s Old is New Again
Tremont is one of the oldest new neighborhoods of the City of Cleveland. Its proximity to downtown and the industrial flats made it an ideal place for working-class people to live close to their jobs. Because of this, Tremont is full of historic houses, churches, meeting halls and other structure integral to a thriving neighborhood.
Today Tremont is one of the hippest, happening places to hang out in Northeast Ohio. All those fascinating old structures make great places to live, work and play for the creative class who have moved in.
Professor Avenue is now the restaurant row in Tremont where you can walk down the street and find some of the most innovative food from establishments owned by some the most well known local and national chefs. Modern townhouses stand next to wooden century homes and loft apartments carved out of former workspaces.
