Certainly it was no chore for Now That’s Class to put together a lineup of five aggressive, macabre bands for their Halloween of Hate show — they do it regularly.
Ranging from the self-dubbed “occult punk” of American Werewolves to the urgent punk of Jacknife Powerbombs to the “fast, violent, and angry” anti-racist punk of Youngstown’s Race Riot 59 to a couple of bands with the Halloween-y word “grave” in their names — “schizoid death rockers” Grave Division and the “melodic crust punk” of new Cleveland band Urban Grave — the spirit of the Misfits will hover over the entire proceedings.
Wear a costume — or not, if you can mosh better without.
Tickets are $6. The show is a fundraiser for Tattoo: The Movie.
