Columbus’ Floorwalkers Sunny Pop/Rock @BeachlandCle

Wed 11/27 @ 9PM

The Floorwalkers’ mildly soulful pop/rock should have the same kind of wide appeal as the music of bands like Train and O.A.R.

The Columbus quartet’s music goes down easy, featuring the kinds of well-crafted songs that are easy to sing along with and easy to relate to.

They’ve been touring and recording since 2005, building a faithful following in markets throughout the Midwest. They released their first full-length album The Natural Road, in 2010, and its follow-up, Love Away The Sun, this year.

It’s packed with sunny songs that, like those of O.A.R., have some jam-band vibe while keeping a tighter focus. Strands of folk, reggae, soul, funk, and blues are woven into the tunes’ strong pop base.

The Floorwalkers return to the Beachland Ballroom, where there should be friends and family — the band grew up in Northeast Ohio. This gig gets them home for Thanksgiving. The Womack Family Band and Nick D. & the Believers open.

Tickets are $10.
