Mon 11/25 @ 6PM
The Singing Angels are a 50-year Cleveland tradition, founded in 1964, and packed with perky, upbeat kids from 8-16. They’re a show choir, which means their repertoire leans heavily on popular favorites in multiple genres, enhanced with choreography and costuming.
Their annual Holiday Spectacular concert at PlayhouseSquare’s State Theatre is one of their crowning annual events, and you know it’s wall-to-wall carols everyone can sing along with.
Tickets are $15-$40, but hurry. It sells out.
The next day, the group will be back at PlayhouseSquare to sing at 6pm for the lighting of the Christmas trees in the Allen Theatre lobby. A longtime tradition at the Cleveland Play House’s old home on Carnegie, they’ve moved it downtown to the Allen with them.
That’s from 5:30 to 8pm. It’s free and open to the public.
