Fri 11/8 @ 8PM
Come on out and re-live an era of pop culture history to benefit the preservation of a small piece of northeast Ohio history.
The Broadview Heights Historical Society is raising money to restore its home on near city hall. So it’s holding its second annual dance at St. Michael’s Woodside Party Center.
Dubbed the “Hippie Dippie ’60s Dance,” guests are invited to don their old ’60s duds — if they can squeeze into them — and dance to the music of Ed Sarley & the Survivors, who presumably will play a bunch of ’60s rock favorites — there are certainly enough to choose from.
They’re expecting musicians and DJs from the ’60s to be there as special surprise guests, and there will be door prizes, a silent auction, a display of ’60 memorabilia, snacks and a cash bar.
Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door.
