Come find out what happens when local teens are HIRED TO CREATE and INSPIRED TO SUCCEED! The Center for Arts-Inspired Learning’s ArtWorks program is awesome. It’s an arts-based job training program that hires high school students to work in small groups called co-ops, under the guidance of a teaching artist. Besides earning a wage, teens gain workforce skills and prepare for higher education while being engaged within the arts.
Learn more and lend your support to this program at the ArtWorks Fall Open House @ the Halle Bldg.
They say: Play a board game created by our Game Design Co-op! Experience performance poetry about working in Cleveland! Learn from budding high school apprentices who have created their own dance company! Look at (and buy!) fabulous ceramic artworks created by the apprentices!
Free and open to everyone.
