The Mojo Big Band is a fixture at Brothers Lounge on Monday nights, a start-of-the-week pick-me-up for jazz fans. The 17-piece-band, featuring some of the area’s top jazz musicians — both youngsters and veterans — plays classics from big-band era ensembles like the Duke Ellington and Count Basie Orchestras.
This week, it’ll do some of those as usual, but it will mix in big-band charts of holiday tunes. It’ll play three sets in the Music Hall.
