It’s been a good 20th anniversary year for Cleveland metal/goth/industrial/ electronic mashup Mushroomhead.
The band, formed in 1993 as a side project by musicians who were in various area metal bands, was reunited for a tour with original singer Jason Popson, joining both its other original singer Jeff Hatrix and Popson’s replacement Waylon Reavis.
It’s done its usual round of roadwork, interspersed with work on a new album which it’s putting the finishing touches on now.
Meanwhile, it’s home to do one more show at the Agora Theatre to wrap up the year. One Eyed doll, Ionia and Unsaid Fate open.
Tickets are $20 in advance, $24 day of show.
