Christopher Reynolds has been a high school French teacher for 30 years, most recently at Berea-Midpark High School. He’s also been an active musician all that time, performing and putting out numerous CDs — first with acoustic folk group Those Guys and then under the name Christopher — the last four on Cleveland-based Little Fish Records.
Now he’s retiring from the former and plans to focus more on the latter. To mark the occasion, he’s hosting a program called Music and Reflections by Christopher Reynolds, taking place at the Berea-Midpark High School Auditorium.
He’ll play some of his songs and talk about the insights he’s gained from teaching and how he’s channeled them into his music. Given his track record, this should be intriguing. In the past he’s channeled his ideas about spirituality and creativity through his music, even developing his own philosophy which he called Urrealism. He says this show is a prototype for the kind of concerts he’ll be performing as he moves on.
The public is invited to this celebration of his career and his music.
Admission is $5, which will benefit Berea-Midpark AFS and Rotary Interact.
