Help these dogs be heartworm free! Join Cleveland’s Secondhand Mutts organization for their 5th annual Pancake Barkfeast and Celebrity Chef Omelette Station. Funds from the breakfast will allow the rescue to treat dogs for heartworms, which can cost around $700/animal and is fatal if left untreated.
It’s a good breakfast. Held at the Pilgrim Congregational Church on W. 14th St., the breakfast will include buttermilk and chocolate chip pancakes, breakfast potatoes, sausage, bacon, turkey bacon, vegetarian sausage, a vegan tofu scramble, coffee and orange juice. The organization is still accepting volunteers, and can be contacted by volunteer_coordinator@secondhandmutts.org.
