BlueWater Chamber Orchestra Features “Spring Strings” at Plymouth Church

Sat 3/1 @ 7:30PM

One of the Cleveland’s newer classical music ensembles, BlueWater Chamber Orchestra, was founded in 2010 to play repertoire that hasn’t been beaten to death and to do so at various accessible locations around the community.

The “Spring Strings” program they’ll play at Shaker Heights’ Plymouth Church features a piece that will be familiar to many: Tchaikovsky’s lovely and oft-reprised Serenade for Strings.

It will also include Edward Elgar’s Introduction and Allegro for Strings, and two pieces by Samuel Barber — his Adagio for Strings and his Capricorn Concerto which will feature soloists Sean Gabriel on flute, Martin Neubert on oboe, and Neil Mueller on trumpet.

Tickets are $23 in advance, $25 at the door.
