Originally from Cincinnati, rap artist Cal Scruby now makes his rhymes in Columbus where he’s a student at The Ohio State University. So he’ll have something to fall back on should the rap thing not work out.
But in the meantime, he’s got a new mixtape coming out called Scrubby to show off his fluid, rapid-fire style and, most likely, his obsession with basketball.
He’ll be introducing himself to northeast Ohio with a show at Kent Stage, where he’ll play with Lorine Chia, Ezzy, Swah, and Ill Kingz.
