@CoitFarmMarket Hosts French Toast Breakfast

Sat 3/29 @9am-noon

As Cleveland’s only year-round farmers market with its own building, the venerable Coil Road Farmers Market, founded in the early 1930s, has the facilities to do cooking demonstrations and special events all year as well.

Open every Saturday from 9am-noon, the market is offering a special incentive on Sat 3/29. As a fundraiser for the market — to help replace the roof on its rear building — it will be dishing up a French toast breakfast put together by local chef Robin Blair, who has cooked for the U.S. Olympic ski team. For $5 you get French toast with northeast Ohio maple syrup, apple cider and coffee. For an extra dollar you can add locally made sausage or bacon from chef Melissa Khoury’s new artisan cured meat and sausage business Saucisson.
