The local jam bands invade the Kent Stage again, this time to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day a tad early, most likely with feel-good substances other than Guinness and green beer.
Two of the hottest young area jam bands — Cleveland’s Broccoli Samurai and Akron’s Aliver Hall — have joined musical forces for One Hall of a St. Patrick’s Day Samurai. Both bands have busy schedules packed with summer festivals and touring, but why wait for the weather to warm up to catch some groovy vibes?
They’ll be joined by two other Kent-based bands, Drunken Sunday and Escape Pod, for a show that also features live performance painters Tom Reed and Justin Roberts, a psychedelic light show, and plenty more special activities.
