Local acoustic folk quintet the Flip Side features five vocalists, four songwriters, and a strong affinity for the singer/songwriter folk of the ’60s folk revival. Singer/guitarist Beth “Flip” Hyland, lead guitarist Bob Gibbons, bassist B. Ryan B., and guitarists Jack Mizenko and Mark Ronan have a brand-one album in the pipeline titled Blue Collar Breakdown, a follow-up to their 2009 release Listen to the Heartbeat.
They’ll celebrate at the Winchester Music Hall, where they’ll regale the audience with their own tunes as well as beloved folk classics.
