After all these years, Michael Stanley has a rhythm down: a set of regular appearances that his area fans — still a numerous group — eagerly look forward to.
One of these is his series of spring shows at the Tangier Cabaret in Akron where he’ll perform four shows with his band the Resonators.
Unlike many older artists whose popularity peaked in the ’80s, Stanley hasn’t been content to rely entirely on his old material or to toss out an album every five or six years. He’s just followed up last year’s The Ride with a brand-new release, The Job. So you’ll most likely get to hear a couple of new songs with all the old ones you love.
Tickets are $45-$90. Packages that include buffet or meet-and-greet are available.
