Sun 5/4 @ 7PM
For all the bad news about the Cleveland schools, and all the bad-mouthing even when there isn’t bad news, one of the areas where it provides opportunities for talented students to shine is in the arts.
In addition to its justly celebrated School of the Arts, it also offered its after-school/weekend All-City Arts Program to engage students and allow them to develop their talents.
The students in the performance programs also have opportunities to perform in professional settings around the city. Its All-City Vocal Ensemble, for instance, will be performing a show at Nighttown. They’ll be backed by musical director David Thomas on piano, Walter Barnes on bass, and Dion Williams on drums.
Tickets are $5.
